* Update: After months of trying to find an even better best vegan protein powder, I conclude a great option is Vivo Life and you can get a 10% off discount code from this website!

Since becoming vegan, I’ve been on a quest to find the best vegan protein powder on the market.

My go-to place to buy is Amazon because I pay for Amazon Prime and I love the free, one-day AND two-day shipping!

Amazon carries the best products and I know I can always reach out to the sellers or customer support whenever I have an issue.

online shopping

Over the years, it has been challenging to find a vegan protein powder that delivers high-quality ingredients while keeping its cost low. For the past few months, I’ve been solely using the brand VivoLife.

VivoLife is an awesome brand. Don’t get me wrong, I love this brand. However, purchasing plant-based protein is expensive to begin with, so when you order the high-end plant-based protein powder, it becomes extremely expensive.

Now, when I say extremely expensive, I’m comparing prices of plant-based powders to those of animal-based protein powders.

I believe (and don’t quote me on this) there are 5lb animal-based protein products on that market that sell for the same price as these “more expensive” 2lb plant-based protein powder bags. It’s crazy.

The cost of plant-based anything this year is going to be slightly more expensive than animal products. Why? Because the demand for plant-based products is lower than the demand for animal-based products (unfortunately).

But, the demand for better alternatives is growing significantly!

Why Should I Buy Plant-Based Protein Powder?

Research suggests that consuming a diet rich in plant-based foods will keep you healthier, give you more energy, and help you lose weight quicker (and keep it off for good).

I will only buy plant-based protein powders for a few important reasons:

  1. They digest better (no gas, bloating)
  2. They don’t contain many “fillers” (to make it seem like you’re getting a good deal, when really you’re just paying for processed sugar)
  3. They’re better for your health

There are at least 15 vegan plant-based protein powders on Amazon that to me, qualify as “great protein powder.”

best vegan protein powder

When I’m looking for a new plant protein powder, I read most of the 1-star and 5-star reviews to get a good variety of what customers think. I also do a bit of research on their list of ingredients to determine if they’re of quality.

finding the best vegan products

With the recent discovery that a lot of protein powders contain heavy metals, and that consuming larger-than-desired doses per day is bad, I have limited my list to only vegan protein powders that contain unmeasurable amounts of heavy metals.

Choosing a protein powder might seem easy, but realistically you shouldn’t just buy the first one that pops up in the Amazon search results.

Why Shouldn’t I Always Trust Amazon Results?

Amazon doesn’t always list the “best products” first in the search results. They sometimes list products that are selling well to entice other consumers to get on the purchase-bandwagon.

Other times, you may find that Amazon lists the products that are only gaining popularity, a metric that can be compromised by strategic marketing.

That’s why it’s important to do your research on multiple products before buying.

How Do I Find the Best Protein Powder Supplement Then?

Before jumping the gun and picking any vegan protein powder, I highly suggest buying two items first (if you don’t already have them):

  1. Shaker Bottle – to hold the liquid
  2. Shaker Bottle Ball – to break up clumps

Even though I’ve tried the powders below, the overall reason people give a certain protein powder a 1 or 2-star rating is because they can’t seem to solve the clumping issue.

No one likes drinking a protein drink that contains clumps. I’m no different.

However, a few years ago I discovered a SIMPLE solution! You can remove the majority of clumps by using a cheap, stainless steel shaker ball wire whisk.

Now, onto the protein powder comparisons and reviews…

Generally, before making a protein powder purchase, I ask myself questions like these:

  1. Is it affordable?
  2. (for me) Is it vegan? Cruelty-free?
  3. Do people seem to like the flavor?
  4. Does this powder contain quality ingredients?
  5. Will it mix well in water or plant milk?
  6. Am I getting a good quantity of powder for the price I’m paying?
  7. How many ingredients does it have?
  8. How much protein is in each serving?

If a brand meets this criteria, I’m likely to make a purchase.

Please note: These reviews are just my opinion. Everyone will have a different preference in terms of price, flavor, quantity, etc, so please keep that in mind.

Also note: some of these companies produce NON-plant-based powders so be mindful in which product you’re purchasing:

So without further ado, here are the 15 best vegan protein powder brands that I entirely recommend (in order from worst to best).

The absolute BEST protein powder I have ever had
★★★★★

Alright, I’ll start off by saying this is the BEST protein powder I have ever had. I have tried multiple brands (big and small, MLM or bought at target) and a lot I have trashed. I have a degree in nutrition and fitness, I’m a wife, a boy mom chef, a very busy online nutrition and fitness professional.

I don’t have time for crappy products. I don’t want to be eating or drinking them, I won’t recommend them to my clients and I certainly won’t give them to my kids or family. Thankfully this product hit the amazing mark in everything.

1. The plant protein sources; pea, flax, quinoa, pumpkin and chia. Pea protein is an awesome source of protein along with the carbs we want. Flax and chia are great sources of omega 3’s (which we all need more of since we are typically high in omega 6 which causes inflammation), Chia seeds are perfect for adding in additional fiber into our diets with very little effort. Quinoa is the perfect mix of protein and good carbs and pumpkin is amazing for our reproductive health – women and men!

2. The awesome enzyme blend; amylase, protease, lipase, lactase, and cellulase. Protease which digests protein. Amylase digests carbohydrates. Lipase for fats and oils digestion. Lactase which digests dairy products. And cellulase that converts glucose. Who wouldn’t want this in their protein shake?

3. The sweet stuff. Organic agave, Organic Coconut Sugar, Stevia, Monk Fruit. Perfect blend of sweet without being too sweet and a bonus because it doesn’t upset any of the little bellies in my home.

4. The fruit and vegetable blend they have formulated is perfect! It leaves no grit, even with foods like quinoa and seeds being in it. It blends perfectly, super smooth, cooks well, freezes in other foods well, isn’t clumpy, and it’s $39? People pay $200+ for a shake that doesn’t taste half as good and is loaded with things that can cause a lot of GI distress. I would easily pay $200 for this shake. They batch test their own products..no weird, sketchy other company needed. If something is too high – the ditch it!

5. This one is pretty important. Their customer service is amazing! I work in an industry where client relations is SO important and these guys nailed it with their team. They’ve answered tons of questions for me and have been so kind!

I ordered the Vanilla to try first – but I love it so much I know that the chocolate will be just as good if not better! I’ll be ordering that tonight. Happy to say I will never have to try or search for another protein powder again! I will 100% be recommending this to ALL of my clients, family, friends and anyone I know because I love it that much!

tastes like chocolate milk
★★★★★

I’m not a big meat eater but I know I need protein. I bought this protein powder as an addition to my diet. When it arrived, I was pleased at how big the container is. The directions are easy to read and understand. It does come with a scoop although I had to dig through the powder to find the scoop. The first time I used it was with cold water. It tasted a lot like chocolate milk. It was slightly chalky but I didn’t shake it. I stirred. Shaking in a closed container would be better. I also tried adding it my coffee. For me personally I did not like it that way. I’ll continue using it but with very cold water. It is still a good protein replacement product. It’s also plant based which is good for vegetarians.

AMAZING
★★★★★

I LOVE this protein powder. I use it for all occasions, post workout, breakfast, and baking. It is amazing and I’m feeling full after for hours. It blends and bakes really well! I highly recommend and can’t wait to try the chocolate. You also can’t beat the price!

5 star protein, 3 star taste, but no gas!
★★★★★

The taste and texture of the vanilla and chocolate are fine, not wonderful. But on the digestive front, for me, it’s great. It’s the first protein powder I’ve used that doesn’t have me horribly gassy all day (this and rx bars). I work in an office setting so that’s a no go, not to mention the discomfort. I do belch a few times after drinking it in the morning but that dissipates quickly. I like that it only has a few ingredients, simplicity is good. So for all the pros, I’ll live with the taste. Good product.

Great… for a plant protein powder
★★★★★

At this point I’ve accepted that I just like whey protein powder better than plant based ones. With that in mind, this is the best vegan protein powder I’ve tried. Though Vega beats this on taste, PEScience is superior when it comes to consistency. You can actually throw this in a shaker bottle with almond milk and drink it (when I did that with Vega the mixture immediately thickened and wasn’t drinkable). Still has a bit of that grittiness that I’ve found to be present across all vegan protein powders, but isn’t as bad as that you find in sunwarrior or orgain. If you’re trying to go plant based with your protein, I think this is one of the better options.

Favorite protein powder
★★★★★

This is by far the most amazing protein powder I’ve ever tried. My body doesn’t react to dairy very well and every vegan protein tastes horrible or doesn’t have a lot of protein. I love the chocolate one, it tastes really good and the consistency is really nice too. I don’t fill up my whole shaker with water because it is too watery for my taste. I fill it a little bit more than half of the shaker and it’s perfect.

Whether you’re a protein shake connoisseur or just overwhelmed by options, this one is great
★★★★★

Ok, so I want to start off my saying that this is the best vegan protein powder I’ve ever tried!!! I was nervous buying it because I’d never heard of them and they seem new, but the other reviews seemed good and I liked the ingredients list so I thought I’d take a chance and give it a try. Really glad I did!!! I’ve tried loads and loads plant based protein powders but it’s super hard to find one that doesn’t taste like dirt. This one is delicious!.

As usual with Amazon, it arrived super quick. So what I did was follow the instructions and mix up 2 scoops with 300ml of water as it says on the pack. I was more than a little skeptical because, well, plant protein powders never seem to good just with water. I was very pleasantly surprised! It was delicious!!!! Sure, it’s never going to be exactly like a chocolate milkshake but this is very, very drinkable. (Much better than Vega, Sun Warrior, Garden of Life, ON etc.).

I love the taste! My issue with vegan protein powder products has always been taste, but not this one. It’s got a delicious chocolatey vibe! Sure, it’s sweet, but not TOO sweet like all the rest. And it’s not “planty”. Plus its not “salty” like Orgain or Kos.

Thumbs up from a busy working mom & vegan
★★★★★

Love this! I first discovered this delicious vegan protein powder on a trip to Ireland. I am so excited it is now here in the states! It is delicious and smooth and has an awesome taste and texture. Typically these powders have a really fake sweet taste, but this is perfectly sweet, we will be definitely adding this as a staple breakfast and snack. My very picky husband and daughters love it too. As a busy working mom of two, I am always looking for tasty convenient vegan snacks and meals for the family to enjoy. I’m happy to say everyone in our house gives this a huge thumbs up!

THE BEST VEGAN PROTEIN POWDER!
★★★★★

I’ve been searching for a dairy free protein powder for the longest time and I really have tried them all (Orgain, Vega, Kos, Garden of Life etc.) but I really, really like this one. My friend in the UK told me about it, so when they launched in the US I decided to give it a try and I’m really glad I did! Unlike other vegan protein powders, it actually tastes nice (not overly sweet). And it’s one of the few plant protein powders with probiotics too, so that’s an added bonus. I like to just shake it up with water. With other vegan proteins I had to knock them back, but what I like about this is that I actually enjoy drinking it! The texture is pretty smooth and the taste is yum!!! Will definitely buy it again!!!

Best bang for your buck
★★★★★

Love the unflavored protein powder so much I had to buy the 3 pound one. Got the unflavored one mainly because it makes it multipurpose to use via cooking or shakes. When I powders the bigger 3 LB one they really pack it to the top. You get your money’s worth. I would recomend to those not sure what flavor to try the smaller bag first.

P.s. the scoop in the big one is a little buried from the top.

one of the best proteins for me
★★★★★

absolutely love this protein. I know it has no flavor so your probably like huh, but lemme tell you why i love this protein. See im lactose intolerant for 1 and i can’t consume 99% of most proteins without feeling some type of side effect, (gas, bloating, upchuck, unease) since i bought the isopure protein beverages i wanted to try this protein as the beverages didn’t make me sick either. Also i make a mean vegetable shake with fruit spinach and cucumbers so the problem is drinking 2 protein shakes and having to down this huge vegetable shake as well, i decided to buy this protein and add it into my vegetable shake and boom i got a protein vegetable fruit shake which is basically like a meal and its delicious i can’t even tell the protein is in there. Also it has no carbs so im able to do double scoops on my carb down days and not feel the effects of insulin as i would with my normal protein with carbs. plus the taste is whatever you mix it with so you can stand the flavor.

No flavor or grainy texture!
★★★★★

When you buy something that says it’s “unflavored” it is usually not completely unflavored….well this protein powder is! Not only can I not taste it, there is absolutely no texture either! I am vegetarian and have been juicing for the past week and needed a way to add protein to my morning, this was the perfect solution 😊 I simply put a small amount of water in the bottom of my glass and a scoop of this powder mixed it up and poured my juice in…I can’t even tell it’s in there! 👍 SO HAPPY!

Fantastic!
★★★★★

This protein was extremely high quality. At first, I was kind of skeptical. But then I gave it a try and I was immediately not disappointed.

The taste: It was better than expected and the chocolate really compliments the overall quality you get from taking a completely vegan protein.

How it feels: I drink this stuff straight in the morning with some milk mixed in with it. It gives me a feeling of a constant yet not overwhelming feeling of energy.

My Take: Overall, this is a great product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a quality vegan protein.

Good flavor, creamy, not overly sweet, still some chalky texture
★★★★★

So you want to know what this protein is like? I.ve got you covered. To review this protein I used only the bare minimum: 8oz of water in a standard shaker bottle with mixer ball.

Taste: a light chocolatey flavor, no overpowering triple dark extra chocolate triple fudge sweetness here. More like a lightly sweetened chocolate milk. It’s naturally sweetened with stevia, thankfully no artificial sweeteners. No bitter or bad aftertastes. I personally have a sweet tooth, so to some others this may be more than sweet enough.

How it mixes: very easy to mix in the 8oz of water and shaker bottle, no clumps, evenly dissolved. I have whey protein isolate that doesn’t dissolve as well as this vegan protein!!

one of the best vegan proteins I’ve tried
★★★★★

I’ve tried a handful of vegan and whey proteins and this one is my main go to protein. It mixes well even without a blender, it doesn’t clump if shaken well and it tastes great when I mix it with chocolate or banana almond milk. My recovery after workouts has also improved with this protein. It’s very hard to find a good vegan protein that really is vegan and this lives up to the good reputation that Genius has been known for. I would definitely recommend this protein to anyone looking for a good vegan protein supplement.

Delicious Protein Packed Powder
★★★★★

I wanted to add plant-based protein to my diet, and I love this powder. I subscribe through amazon to save a little bit of money. I am happy with the taste (a delicious vanilla) and the texture (no grittiness). It blends easily with just shaking.

If you’re looking to an alternative to the expense (and sugar and calories) of your morning Starbucks, here’s my recipe for a healthy protein packed alternative Vanilla Latte. Every morning I add two scoops of [[ASIN:B016K2P91Q Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy, Iced Mocha Cappuccino] to one scoop of the Vanilla plant protein. Add 16oz of water (or if you want something thicker, nut milk or regular milk): delicious, refreshing, energizing, and MUCH better for your wallet and waist than a Starbucks.

An honest review
★★★★★

I see a lot of reviews on here of people complaining how they’ve used this specific brand for 50 years and all of a sudden it changes and now its no good to them. Im new to this brand and to ease some others about the skeptical view of other reviews on here, i think it tastes fine. Some say its too sweet. Well you should check the ingredients first or don’t expect vanilla ice cream flavor to not taste sweet.. I got vanilla and thats exactly what it tastes like. Take a tub of vanilla ice cream and melt it and drink it. This taste better than most powders i’ve tried and if it doesn’t taste that great to you, toughen up princess. No one cares if it taste good. we are using PROTEIN powder… FOR PROTEIN.

All around impressive
★★★★★

First of all, I noticed the canister was almost full to the top with product. You cant even get a bag of chips that full anymore. The canister is also huge. Much bigger than my more expensive protien that only came half full. So right off I was impressed. I got the Vanilla Ice Cream and it smelled heavenly. I wasn’t sure how good it would taste, but upon mixing it with unsweetened Almond Milk was pleasantly surprised. I had no issues with it mixing. I really bought this to bake with and also have been happy with those results. I have bought the ON brand before (chocolate) and really liked it as well. I highly recommend this product.

Best Vegan Protein Ever
★★★★★

This is the best tasting vegan protein I’ve ever had. The fact that it is organic makes it that much more valuable in my eyes because I know it doesn’t contain any artificial crap like sucralose, acelfame potassium, ace k, or artificial flavors. It always boggles my mind when someone is taking a supplement to be healthy and its loaded with artificial crap. Organic Muscle is delicious, pure as can be, and mixes great in a blender with ice or just with water in a shaker bottle. I highly recommend this protein for anyone trying to live a fitter and healthier life.

THIS IS WORTH IT!
★★★★★

I am so impressed by this product. The taste is amazing. So many protein powders leave you feeling bloated with GI upset but I have never had that experience with this particular protein powder. Most vegan protein tends to be very chalky and lacks flavor but with 0 grams of sugar and all organic ingredients it’s obvious that this is a quality product. My only complaint is that it took me a week to realize that a full serving was two scoops as opposed to one and I’m pretty sure that’s not even a complaint considering I’m an idiot and didn’t read the label properly. 🙂 I mix it with a half a cup of unsweetened almond milk, throw in a teaspoon of peanut butter, and the rest water and absolutely love it! Thank you organic muscle!!!!!!

Hooray for this product
★★★★★

I haven’t used the product as of yet but after talking to a few friends about it and its performance, I had to try it. I like the ingredients that’s in there, so that’s why I ultimately choose it. I started off looking for a all natural/vegetarian/vegan weight gainer and this is one of only a select few products that came close. Not EXACTLY what I wanted to a tee but its about 85/90% percent on point. I was looking for a vegan weight gainer with close to 60g of protein a serving. Don’t know if it exist.

Impressed
★★★★★

I was recommended this product to start changing the environment in my intestinal tract due a thyroid disorder I have. I can not believe my personal results. Reduction in intestinal inflammation in a little over two weeks. Two shakes a day. No bloating or stomach discomfort like most whey and casein proteins. I am very happy! Flavor is good too!

Delicious and NO Xanthum Gum
★★★★★

I bought the one lb size last time and I won’t do that again..went too fast! :). My 2 lb just arrived and wanted to take a sec and give a review. With 21 gms of plant protein, this is an amazing supplement. My shake consists of: 1 scoop, banana, 2 TBsp of PB2, and 12 ounces chilled liquid (usually 8 oz soy/4 oz filtered water). I throw this in the blender. Sometimes I will throw in frozen blueberries or kale. This is a go to after working out and if I don’t have time for a sit down meal. I struggle to get enough protein on a daily basis and the above basic shake supplies about 35 gms or so. Amazing. The blender helps for this to not be grainy. I love this powder and one of the biggest selling points is no xanthum gum. That is a G.I. killer for me and it’s in a lot of plant based or gluten free foods these days. Enjoy!

Best vegan protein powder for serving size and amount of protein per serving
★★★★★

So far the best vegan protein powder out there with low carbs and low fat, allowing you to eat more carbs and fat in your meals and with higher vegetable protein than most brands. This has more serving in the container than all of the competitors for a good price. All of the flavors taste amazing. The vanilla taste like it should and not like you are drinking vanilla extract. My favorites are vanilla, cookies ‘n’ creme, chocolate, and unflavored for cooking and baking.

Expensive, but not as many additives as other vegan protein powders
★★★★★

This is probably the most expensive protein powder I’ve purchased. But there’s only 5 ingredients! 1 being the pea protein, the others being vanilla/chocolate flavor, and one other whose name I can’t recall and not sure what it is. Either way, better than my Optimum Nutrition Whey Isolate protein which has numerous additional chemicals and additives with the protein. You’re paying for being healthier by getting protein powder without all the heavy metals that you’ll find in others like the Vega protein powder I used to get. Personally I wouldn’t use this protein powder long term given the cost, but if you’re going for like a 3 month cut or bulk or something like that and want good protein without worrying about the health risks of additives with protein powder, this is definitely the powder for you.

THREE INGREDIENTS AND DELICIOUS!!!
★★★★★

I love that this protein powder only has three ingredients! I had been doing a lot of research on finding the right protein powder and felt best about putting plant proteins with minimal ingredients into my body. I went to Nuzest’s website and got a sampler box of many of their products before buying a large container of protein powder. They sent extras of everything in nearly all of the flavors, so I got to try much more before deciding on what to purchase. I really appreciated the ability to sample before purchasing.

I bought the Clean Lean Protein in Smooth Vanilla. It’s delicious! It tastes like cake mix to me and mixes well with fruits.

Great tasting and filling
★★★★★

GREAT taste and consistency! This also keeps me full until lunch time, which is pretty unusual for me. I was looking for something that had very little added junk in it and this seems to fit the bill. I do think it is rather on the expensive side for the amount you get. Even though I knew the amount when I ordered it, I actually thought they had made a mistake when I opened it. But, I guess this is a case of you get what you pay for. I enjoy the taste alone or I add a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg if I don’t want the added sugar/calories of fruit. I’ve also added almond butter for another great taste and still stay healthy. I always use a blender and also add a cup to cup and half of ice cubes and blend and it makes it a bit thicker. Great product and I will buy again, even though I complain about the price 🙂

Game Changer
★★★★★

I have been using Vega for years and eventually became so burnt out on it and its chalky weird flavor that I would gag at the mere thought of drinking it. I decided to branch out and i’m SO glad I did…This protein powder takes the cake BY FAR in comparison to flavor/texture/price. Seriously the most delicious vegan protien I have ever had. I will be ordering this over and over again.

PROTEIN FOR THE SOUL
★★★★★

I go to the gym about 4-5 times a week and because of my daily ritual of gyming, sweating, and dying daily I go through quite a bit of protein to make sure these muscles get all the love they can. I’ve gone through many different types of protein from your favorite whey to your mainstream muscle milk protein. To me protein is protein but to my mom she is very adamant about HEALTHY ORGANIC stuff so I gave this organic protein a try and I’ll say it is quite a ride with just water and like every other review I recommend to mix it with anything else BUT if you can’t prepare your tastebuds for a roller coaster of adventure that could be even more taxing than going to the gym. The protein is good I have no complaints I enjoy it and it fulfills my needs. It’s got no dairy so people who tend to fart and poop too much can eat it. It fulfills the organic part so my mom can get off my butt. It’s vegan so you can feel better about using it I guess and it keeps the vegans away from complaining about you and it’s protein so it fulfills my lifter needs. All in all I think if your looking around for protein and need it to be organic, non dairy, and vegan then this protein can work for you.

Gluten free
★★★★★

I decided to try this protein because I’m gluten sensitive and since this is basically pea protein I know I wouldn’t have any issues with it. I mix the powder with water and take it after my run and badminton practice. I like how it’s not really strong on flavor and not too sweet. The mix goes down easily. I’m mostly using this to help with recovery after workouts and so far so good.

I am so surprised to read the negative comments! I’m on my second canister and have experienced only positive results, both for the vanilla flavor and the chocolate. I have put it in water or almond milk in a shaker bottle and it’s fine. I blended it with fruit to make a smoothie. Of course a smoothie will always taste better than plain shaking (!) but honestly, I have tried that with some other protein powders and I can’t even choke it down. This is very tasty no matter how I make it. And I feel good – no gas, no side effects in taste or digestion. Plus it sustains me till the next meal. I have tried a LOT of different plant-based protein powders and this one wins, hands-down!

My search for the best vegan protien powder ends here!
★★★★★

Five stars & more! Absolutely the finest & best protien powder that is out there which is all Vegan & couldn’t get any better! I’ve tried so many top brands wasting hundreads of $ but each time, I could not continue using the same owing to either it being very unpleasant, chalky in taste & texture resulting in bad stomach bloats, headaches, digestion issues what not! Also being a total Vegan, I so wanted a perfect, clean, plant based high end protien powder to be able to incorporate the daily required protein in to my vegan diet! Needles to say, that this has met all the above criteria of an best vegan protien & some more! This stuff is just amazing 👍 Blends so well in to my smoothies, fruit juices and even with just a plain cup of cold water. Also it is helping me lose some weight 🙂 which a bonus & of course, I work out & watch what I eat too.. I guess This is my new go to super protien powder…Highly recommend it if you want a best tasting, natural, top quality vegan protein..Five Stars all the way!

Lifesaver nutrition for our picky autistic son for the last 3 years!
★★★★★

We have an autistic 6 year old who is the pickiest eater on the planet! Fortunately for us, he will drink a smoothie we make in the vitamix every day. I bought this powder and took it with me to a pediatrician appointment a few years ago and he approved it as a good source of protein and nutrition for our boy. We mix it with juice, fruits and veggies, and a scoop of frozen yogurt and it’s so yummy! He has been drinking it for years. It has totally been a lifesaver for us! My husband and I drink the shake too and love it! I can highly recommend this protein powder!

YUMMY YUMMY !!!!!!!!!!!
★★★★★

My new Favorite Protein Powder!!!!! In a blender I added 1 scoop of the warrior blend organic protein powder, 1 banana, 2 tbls of peanut butter with 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk. The amount of ice will depend on the consistency and how thick you want your shake (I filled mine half full) Tasted WONDERFUL and NO protein after taste!!! I am so happy with this product!!!!!!

Delicious and reasonably priced
★★★★★

This product is amazing. I was pleased to see it was a rather large container. This is my first time doing a detox to lose a few pounds and these shakes make a wonderful meal replacement. I chose the vanilla flavor… delicious!!! I mix it with 4 oz of vanilla and chai tea and 4oz of skim milk. I don’t even use a blender. I use a beverage shaker and voila!!! It’s filling and keeps me satisfy. Between the 14 day detox tea I purchased here on Amazon, and the protein shakes I’ve lost 5 lbs in 5 days. I’m sure I could lose more if I could exercise, but I’m partially disabled and unable to walk. I’m over the moon happy with this product. The price is extremely reasonable.

The best breakfast ever
★★★★★

I love this protein powder. Every day for the past 3 or four years I mix one scoop of sunwarrior with vanilla almond milk and a splash of water to make my favorite breakfast shake. It tastes great, is not grainy in texture, and contains no extra hormones from things like whey because it is vegan.

To make my shake I use a reusable drink shaker, fill the bottom with some crushed ice, put in a scoop of protein powder, add another layer of crushed ice on top, pour in my almond milk / water and give it a good shake.

Very Sweet But So Good!!
★★★★★

I bought the salted caramel flavor and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The flavor is quite sweet, more of a butterscotch flavor than a salted caramel. I couldn’t imagine blending a banana or anything into it due to sweetness. I stir it into unsweetened overnight oats though and I think it’s perfect! Would really work mixed with pumpkin spice or any fall flavors too. I hope they never discontinue this flavor!! I plan on buying more when I run out!

Cures everything but Death!
★★★★★

After using tumeric powder and black seed oil (which I gag on) for months, I stumbled upon Smarter Nutrition’s Curcumin product. This product really helps my digestive system and has totally eliminated my joint pain. My sons who are very health conscious and exercise daily were also using tumeric powder but have since moved on to using Curcumin. We love it.! The soft gel capsules are easy to swallow. Smarter Nutrition’s Curcumin contains Black Seed Oil. Black cumin seeds are mentioned both in the Bible and the Quran and the prophet Mohammad reportedly said that seeds of the black cumin plant could cure anything but death itself. While that may seem to be quite the tall order, black cumin does in fact have remarkable healing and health properties that make it one of the most powerful medicinal plants known to man.

Satisfied and the holes in the seal are fine
★★★★★

I just got this product in the chocolate flavor. It doesn’t taste like chocolate per say but is definitely drinkable! Way better than the Vanilla Vega Performance Protein.

Also, the seal had five punctures in the shape of a hexagon. I was skeptical about Amazon’s response to the reviews about this so I reached out to Vega directly and they ensured me this is fine and how their packaging now looks. I’m attaching a screen shot.

Great Results
★★★★★

I still think these are way overpriced, but with the quick recovery and build that I’ve seen while adding this to my diet, I’m sticking with this brand. This one and the blueberry one taste great also.

So yummy!
★★★★★

Oh my goodness. I saw some reviews that were a little iffy, but I figured I wanted to make my own opinion about it. I tried it tonight after work and holy smokes… so good. Reminds me of a drink from Starbucks. I mixed it w almond milk and it was great. Not gritty, smooth, creamy. I’ve tried a lot of protein powders and this is perfect. Only crappy thing was the ziplock came apart, but I just used a bag clip.

Best Tasting Protein Powder, Plant-Based or Otherwise
★★★★★

After reading the (U.S.) reviews I wasn’t sure what I was going to get. But I put my trust in some YouTubers — namely Brian Turner, Rob at Vegan Physique and Derek Simnett — who rave about it. And I wasn’t disappointed.

On paper, you would think this would taste bad because it’s so natural and healthy. But it’s the best tasting protein powder I’ve ever had in the 20 years I’ve been working out. In fact, up until three months ago, I only consumed whey-based protein supplements.

This definitely tastes plant-based and “green,” but you taste the cacao more than anything. That green taste in the background actually brings out the peanut butter and bananas I put into my shake so I love it. It mixes fantastically and doesn’t create a “cloud” and mess on my counter like my previous brown rice protein powder did. Plus: no bloating!

I’ve been on Amazon over 10 years and never reviewed a product before but I saw how this was rated a 3/5 with eight reviews at the time of my writing and thought that’s an injustice.

If the reviews have you on the fence, do what I did and look at the Amazon UK site where this has been selling for longer. There are many more reviews to go by.

A great balance of protein, carbs, and fiber.
★★★★★

First of all I love the taste of this. It’s not artificially sweet or chalky and it dissolves great. It’s pretty creamy, especially with milk (but I use water), and has a really nice chocolate flavor (I have not tried the vanilla). It’s the only protein powder I’ve found that has the best value and includes carbs. Carbs are life, people! And also a ton of fiber; it has 10 grams!! It will keep you full, which is great. There’s not a ton of weird ingredients either. I discovered it on the EWG site and it has one of the lowest contamination rates. It’s made by CytoSport, the maker of Muscle Milk, so no wonder it’s so good. I can’t think of anything I would change beyond more flavors.

The BEST protein shake I have ever had
★★★★★

The BEST protein shake I have ever had. I kept reading reviews about how this tastes completely different from the pre-mixed drink – but I’m here to tell you that’s not true. I mixed two scoops of this with cashew milk and, maybe my taste buds just aren’t that sensitive, but it tasted pretty much the same to me. This shake holds me over for lunch when I have to work through my lunch break at the law firm. The entire container was also full to the brim, which you almost never see when buying powdered protein. I’ll definitely be purchasing again.

Excellent plant based protein
★★★★★

I have been using Evolve protein power for several months. This is a far superior product to whey protein. Great taste, and quality pea protein. I find that it mixes very well and there is no gritty taste. An excellent product that has helped me lose 15 pounds in the last 2 months

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a great protein powder, it really all comes down to what your preferences are. I mean, I can tell you all day which powders are my favorite but you may feel completely different about them! I’d recommend trying one of these out and if you like it, great! If you don’t, try another one.

I love Amazon because if the company doesn’t offer a refund for your purchase, Amazon probably will so there’s no harm in trying a few of these!

Good luck in your search!
