How Not to Die’s Daily Dozen Green-ish Smoothie Recipe

Smoothie - Daily Dozen

This is one jam-packed smoothie. Hemp seeds, dates, bananas, blueberries, spinach, and so much more!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 frozen bananas
  • 3 medjool dates (no pits)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 3 handfuls of spinach
  • A few black pepper corns
  • 2 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth.
  • Drink immediately (so the fruit/vegetables don't oxidate)!

Notes

I'll admit I love drinking green smoothies. However, even though this smoothie is loaded with a TON of good stuff, the color of it can be distracting. If you prefer a "green" smoothie, you could replace the blueberries with a 1/4 tsp of Amla powder or mangoes for the extra antioxidants.
