I'm not your typical social-media vegan. I don't have washboard abs, I don't live on a beach, and I don't always eat a smoothie bowl for breakfast. However, I'm passionate about animals and love sharing insights & tips for those interested in going vegan! Learn more about why I decided to go vegan.

Just ate my first cherimoya which brought me to this site to get more info on this fruit. I thought it may be related to the Noni fruit, but it isn’t. It sounds like Whole Foods in Hawaii carries them. Not great news for me,as I live in NJ but work in NYC amongst all the gourmet stores.
And yes… I was absolutely jealous of that guy eating all those fruits!!!
May be a great way to go as he looked thin and in great shape ,plus must have quite a bit of energy being a surfer.
Did you receive any comments as to where to obtain some of these fruits?
Also…have you eaten a cherimoya…it was delicious but so many pits that I was afraid that I would swallow one.
Yes, I have had quite a few Cherimoya and they’re pretty good!
As for other fruits, I found an Asian market (here in CA) that sells Jackfruit but the day I went, they were all rotten – it was the same place I bought the durian. Maybe that was rotten too?
I bought Rambutan at my local grocery store.
I’m still looking/researching for ways to get the other fruits listed and will make sure to post any news I can about where to find them on MakeItVegan.com.
